we're going to create a web site that really sells...
==========================================
Step 3: How to Create A Killer Web Site
That Really Sells (Instead of One That
Just Looks Good)
My Work From Home
==========================================
In just 2 posts we've come a far
way - you've got your idea and you have the inside
information of how to quickly and easily create your
information product.
Well now we're coming to one of the most important steps -
creating a site that really sells.
I think you'll be surprised...
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Why Do Most Sites Flop?
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
I want you to think for a moment about why most sites
fail...
It's not because they haven't invested in the best shopping
cart system...and it doesn't have anything to do with not
using Flash or some other fancy plug-in...and it's not due
to the fact they've overlooked top-quality graphics or
design work...
So what is it?
The real reason most web sites can't make money is because
they lack strong web copy.
Consider this:
If a site didn't have any graphics - just words - could it
make sales?
Absolutely!
But what if a site didn't have any words - just graphics -
could you expect to see any sales?
I don't think so!
**It's The words That sell!**
The right words have the almost magical power to make your
visitor BUY!
And when you can know how to create compelling copy that
sells you can practically write your own ticket. You can
literally turn the Internet into your own automatic online
moneymaking machine.
It's true. And that's why...
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Your Site Should Really Be
A Sales Letter
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You need to forget almost everything every guru or Internet
marketing expert tells you. I suggest the simple sales
letter works better than almost anything else you can have
on your site. (Just trust me on this one - try it my way
first and then if you still want to do all kinds of crazy
things you can with the profit you'll make using my
methods)
Remember, I'm trying to give you a simple way to get
started and create digital content and make money. There
are lots of other ways to do this, but a sales letter site
is the absolute easiest. That's it.
Your main goal is to sell and having all kinds of content
and free stuff on your site will get people away from your
main objective. (Actually, you've got 2 objectives - the
first is to sell and the second objective is to get contact
information for your 'maybes'.)
You've got to study direct response marketing because the
web is really the same thing - just on a computer screen
instead of a sales letter sent through the mail or a direct
response ad in the newspaper.
Here are crash courses on writing killer sale letters:
Amazing Cover Letters
Can You Say Recurring Commissions!
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Create Immediate Attention
with a Powerful Headline
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You've only got a few seconds to capture your visitor's
attention before they click away. So your headline's job is
immediately get your prospect's attention and stop them
dead in their tracks.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Build Interest
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The first part of your sales letter is critical to your
success. Once you have your prospect's attention you still
need to build their interest. Asking a question, discussing
a problem, expanding on your headline or telling a story
are all good ways to increase interest.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Whet Reader's Desire with
Hot Benefits and Bullets
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Benefits are the results your prospects are looking for. If
you sell a book - people don't want to read the book they
want the 'secrets' and information inside. You can
incorporate benefits into your bullets (which are
really 'mini headlines') so use the same powerful words to
build desire and stress benefits or how they can avoid pain.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Intensify Desire with
Testimonials Showing Results
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
One of the hardest parts of selling on the Internet is
making your yourself or your offer believable and credible.
One of the best ways to get skeptical people to believe is
to incorporate loads and loads of testimonials.
People love reading testimonials because they are much more
powerful than anything you could every say about yourself.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Demand Immediate Action
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Nobody likes to make a decision. That's why you have to
help them along by incorporating a time deadline and
reminding them of what they'll miss out on if they don't
take action.
And make it absolutely clear what to do next. Don't make
people guess what you want them to do. Tell them 'click
here' to get started right away.
=-=-=-=-
There you have it. Applying this information to your site
you'll see your sales soar!
That's it for Part 3. In your next installment of this
course you'll discover how to automate your site so it runs
on almost 100% autopilot. You can go play golf, go on
vacation or just go goof off and money will still be coming
in.

Great Introduction To Affiliate Marketing (2 out of 7)
Step 2: How to Quickly and Easily Create
Your New Digitally Delivered Information
Product
http://www.myworkathome.us/
==========================================
Okay in the first part you discovered a couple hot
information products and I told you start brainstorming
some possible ideas - I bet you might be saying, 'How the
heck do I create all this stuff?!!?'
Don't worry. I'll show you a couple tricks that will help
you knock out your new digital product quicker and easier
than you imagined.
Here are 5 ways to get started:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You Write It
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The first way is to create it yourself. You'll sit down
and put your hands on the keyboard and write it yourself.
That's one way to do it. For some people this is pretty
easy - for others they can't stand the thought of sitting
at their computer and typing for hours and hours.
Well, it doesn't have to be that bad.
When you create non-fiction you don't need to worry that
much about style - just deliver tons of content and real
useful information. Write just like you talk. People won't
mind - in fact, they'll probably like it better.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Speak Your Product
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
I'll give you a secret way and super easy to get your
product written. If you ever do any speaking, a
teleseminar, or even if you just sit down with a couple of
friends and tape record your information you can get a
product together in no time flat!
You simply talk about whatever your subject is and then
have that tape transcribed. That transcription becomes the
basis of your information product. Very nice!
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Get A Ghostwriter
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Did you realize there are tons of starving writers out
there, who are more than happy to write for you so they can
pay their bills. Really. You can find ghostwriters in a
publication called Literary Marketplace at your library.
Check the category called 'freelance writers'. These will
usually be professional ghostwriters who will work from
your notes or research. The most common arrangement is a
payment per completed page.
Or simply put an ad in your local paper and you'll have
lots of interest.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
License Material
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
One easy way to get an information product to sell is to
buy a license.
You may be familiar with licensing in the retail world.
Mickey Mouse is one of the most widely licensed characters
ever. Whenever you see Mickey Mouse lunch boxes,
toothbrushes, plush toys, etc. usually you're seeing a
licensee at work.
The company has paid Walt Disney to license Mickey Mouse's
character on their product and they pay a royalty to Disney.
The way it works in the information world is pretty
similar. You can purchase a license from the author or
copyright owner to sell the product. This is known as a
resale license.
There are different types of licenses. There are ones where
you would pay a royalty to the author and there are others
when you own the resale rights fully and you keep 100% of
the selling price.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Public Domain Information
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
There is lots of information that has fallen into the
public domain or is publicly available with no copyright.
You have to double check, but a lot of government
publications are free and available to be reprinted.
There's an interesting web site based around a book from
1910 that is public domain information:
http://www.scienceofgettingrich.net
The woman behind this site took a long forgotten book from
1910 and she turned it into an ebook. She doesn't sell that
ebook - she gives it away and there's other backend stuff
related to this guy's teachings that she sells but the
whole concept is based on timeless principles from a public
domain book.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Interview Experts
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
I'm surprised that more people don't do this.
Let's say you don't think that you know enough information
about a certain topic you're writing on. No problem! You
just get 5 or 6 experts, interview them, transcribe that
audiotape and compile that information. Simple.
=-=-=-=-
There you have it - 5 quick and easy ways to create our
new digitally delivered information product.
Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect before you start
selling it and testing whether anyone actually wants it.
That's the biggest mistake most people make. They try to
make everything perfect instead of learning as they go
along.
Trust me, you'll get much better results if you do
something than if you keep thinking and thinking about it.
That's it for Part 2. In the next installment of this
course you'll get the inside scoop on how to really create
a site that sells (and not just one that looks good).

Great introduction to affiliate marketing (1 out of 7)
Imagine waking up every morning and finding orders waiting
for you in your email box. As you were sleeping customers
from all over the world were giving you money. And you
don't have to do anything because your computer takes the
order, processes the credit cards, delivers the product
and then deposits money in your bank account - all without
you lifting a finger.
It's like having your own perfect moneymaking machine
working for you tirelessly day and night.
I know it sounds like a pipe dream but it's not. Stick with
me and I'll show you the absolute best way for the little
guy (like you and me) to earn money on the Internet...
Think about the perfect web business:
* You have no competition. Everything you sell is copyright
protected so you can't be 'knocked off'.
* Incredibly huge profit margins. People aren't paying for
bits and bytes they are paying you for the value of the
information. With a digitally delivered or 'downloadable'
product your profit margin is nearly 100%. (Compare that
to any giant online retailer who can only compete on price
and eek out a slim single digit profit margin)
* You can work from anywhere you wish. It doesn't matter
if you're playing beach volleyball in Aruba or skiing in
the Rockies. You can run your site from anywhere you can
find an Internet connection.
* You can set up your business so it works on complete
autopilot (that's how my web site works right now).
* No need for employees. I have absolutely zero employees
and I couldn't be happier not to deal with all those
headaches and hassles.
* Incredibly low start up costs. You don't need a factory
or even a store front because you can run your business in
any spare space a computer fits.
* You get paid over and over again for work you do one
time. Once you create your digital product you can keep
selling over and over again. The work is done one time and
you repeatedly profit from it.
Those are some pretty powerful advantages, right? Well,
these are all the benefits of creating 'Digitally
Delivered' Information Products.
And quite simply - I don't believe there is a better
opportunity right now then selling a digitally delivered
information product. I turned a profit after the first few
weeks and now it just keeps growing and growing.
Throughout this training course I'll take you through the
7 steps I use to create instant Internet profits with
'digitally delivered' information products.
==============================================
Step #1:
Brainstorm Your Winning Digital Information Product
==============================================
Your first step is freeing up the creative juices inside
your noggin.
The best way I know is to take a look a few examples of top
selling digital information products so you can get a
couple ideas.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Ebooks or Electronic books
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Ebooks or electronics books are books that are downloaded
on your computer either using an ebook compiler (this is
special software that compiles HTML pages into a book) or
as an Adobe PDF (portable document format) file. A PDF file
is probably the most common and effective way to deliver an
ebook because both Mac and PC users can read the book.
A PDF file will retain the same formatting and graphics
across these different platforms.
Ebooks are really starting to get a lot of publicity due to
Stephen King's recent ebook 'The Bullet' that 750,000
people downloaded.
Check out these sites to get an idea of a few ebooks that
are selling well.
ebookreviews
Ken Evoy, the author of Make Your Site Sell, sold tens of
thousands of his ebook and this actually forced him to
create a print version. So that's not a bad problem to
have.

I highly recommend this ebook (and trust me
I don't read many non-marketing books but this one really
changed my life).
And there are lots of other subjects that ebooks work for.

different subjects of ebooks they have available.

Membership Sites

Membership sites give users access to a private membership
site protected by a password system.
Here is the successful membership site:

This is one of the first membership sites on the Net.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Templates or Tools
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
These are pre-made tools and templates for people to use
right away. Tools are in extreme high demand because people
are either too lazy or too busy to do things themselves.
The more turnkey you can make it for them - the higher the
price you can charge and the more sales you'll make.
Here are a few tools and templates on the Net now:
http://www.instantsalesletters.com
These are fill-in-the-blank templates for small business
owners to create their own sales letters without writing.
(This is my site)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Online Newsletter
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Instead of sending a paper newsletter you could deliver
content online to a subscriber-only area of your web site.
A newsletter can be once per month, once per week or once
per day. People pay for their subscription and the unique
information you deliver.
Here's my favorite example:
http://www.campaigner.com/
This is Gary Woodruf's newsletter. I think his
newsletter's great and I really can't say enough good
things about it. Gary delivers some of the most unique
and highly useable Internet marketing information I've
seen. And he offers free trial too!
================================
How To Come Up With Your Topic
================================
Coming up with your idea is the fun part. You should go
through all your experience and knowledge and try to come
up with a list of possible projects.
* What do people always ask you about?
* Do you have special knowledge others would like to know?
* Have you experienced certain setbacks in life and
overcome them?
* Have you succeeded in a career that many people fail at?
* What subject, interest or hobby are you really
passionate about?
You should brainstorm at least 10 project ideas. Trust me -
it's not that hard. Carry around a small notebook with you
and you'll be amazed at all the ideas you come up with.
Don't evaluate them. Just write them down.
I'll give you a great idea I just recently saw. Scot
Dantzer created a tutorial 'how to' for people using Adobe
Acrobat or PDF files.
He saw that there was a market of people that WANTED to
create PDF files and he also found out that many people
were timid or unsure about creating those files. So he
created a step-by-step, easy to use manual filled with lots
of screen shots that walk people through the process.
He calls it the '5 Minute PDF Creator'. I have a copy and I
found it extremely helpful.
Here's his site if you want to check it out (there's even a
free demo version you can download):
http://www.richjerk.com/pdf
Adobe Acrobat (the program he teaches people
about) comes with an instruction manual but he made it
plain and simple for people to understand - and now he's
selling quite a few copies of his new ebook.
Also, use this tool to give you an idea of what people
*want* - it'll tell you how many searches were done on
your subject:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
=-=-=-=-
I hope that gives you a couple ideas and that should do it
for day 1. Just try to come up and brainstorm with as many
ideas and topics as you can for now. In the next
installment of this course we'll tell you what we're going
to do with it.

"Strategy, Implementation and Planning" marketing guide review
Internet Marketing Book Review
Strategy, Implementation and Planning- Authors: Dave Chaffey, Fiona Ellis-Chadwick, Richard Mayer and Kevin Johnston
- My rating: 5/5 It's its third edition and is the best-selling text in its category, so it's proving popular.
- Brief Review: They wrote this book to provide a comprehensive guide to how all types of organisations can use the Internet to support their marketing activities, and covers all aspects of Internet marketing that need to be managed - environment analysis, strategy development, and digital marketing campaign-planning and execution. It is a practical book designed to help marketing professionals and students understand best practice in developing a structured Internet marketing plan for different types of organisation based on a sound strategic review. It provides much more depth at 550 dense pages compared to some web marketing books which struggle to 100!
- Review from UK Chartered Institute of Marketing
Internet Marketing is arguably the most comprehensive book to emerge so far on the subject of the internet and its impact on marketing.
Applying the uses of the internet across a broad spectrum of marketing issues, it addresses how the internet can be used as more than just another promotion channel. It demonstrates how adoption of new technology and new techniques can increase the effectiveness of the marketing function.
It does not jettison current knowledge for the weird and wonderful. Instead it explains how internet strategies can be integrated into existing marketing plans. Essential reading for students and practioners alike who want to grasp the full implications of the internet for marketing and use it to its full potential.
This internet marketing book was designed as a textbook undergraduate and postgraduate students. It is the core text on IDM Diploma in Digital Marketing and has been adopted by many universities and colleges in the UK, US, Europe, Asia and Australasia. It has been translated into Chinese, German, Italian and Serbo-Croat.
But is a also a practical book used by marketing professionals since it is an in-depth structured guide to planning and strategy for web marketing. They have trained / consulted using the principles explained in the book with well known brands such as 3M, BP, First Direct, HSBC, Siebel and Tektronix as well as many smaller companies. - Helpful links:
